Bend Test
The Bend Test is a mechanical test used to evaluate the ductility, strength, and soundness of welds or metal joints. In this test, two plates are welded together, and a flat strip of metal is cut from the welded section and bent into a U-shape to check for cracks or defects on the surface and weld area.
It helps determine the quality and flexibility of welded joints, ensuring they meet structural and safety standards.
